1. Company Introduction

This document constitutes a binding agreement between you and Dot R Interiors Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), an interior design, turnkey contracting, and civil execution firm incorporated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website (https://dotrinteriors.in/) or executing a project contract with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using our website and services.

3. Services Offered

Dot R Interiors offers residential interior design, commercial interior design, turnkey office fit-outs, civil construction work, space planning, modular kitchen assembly, and customized furniture manufacturing. Detailed specifications of deliverables are explicitly detailed within individual project work orders.

4. Quotation Validity

Any budget layout or quotation estimate prepared and sent by Dot R Interiors is valid for a maximum duration of fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of issuance. Post this period, rates may be subject to revisions depending on raw materials cost indexes and labor charges.

5. Project Scope

The exact scope of execution is restricted strictly to details recorded in the signed project agreement. Any requests for additional work, revisions, or design changes not detailed in the original agreement will be treated as extra work orders and charged separately under supplementary invoicing.

6. Client Responsibilities

To enable timely progress and completion of work, the client is responsible for:

• Providing complete, unrestricted access to the project site.
• Obtaining required approvals from property management offices, local civil bodies, and societies.
• Providing basic site facilities, including continuous water and electricity utilities.
• Timely review and sign-off on design drawings, material selections, and layout plans.

7. Payments & Billing Milestones

All projects are billed based on pre-defined stages. Typical payment configurations require a 50% mobilization advance upon contract sign-off, followed by step-by-step progress payments based on material procurement, carcass completion, and handover stages. Invoices must be cleared within 3 business days of presentation. Delayed payments may result in immediate suspension of work.

8. Material Availability & Substitutions

We make every effort to procure materials (veneers, laminates, fittings, tiles, lighting fixtures) exactly matching chosen design swatches. However, in the event of manufacturing shortages or logistics delays, we reserve the right to recommend and substitute materials of comparable quality, subject to prior consultation and approval from the client.

9. Project Timeline

Estimated handover timelines are provided in good faith. However, Dot R Interiors shall not be held liable for project delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including client-side payment delays, structural defects discovered during civil execution, power failures, strikes, or acts of God (force majeure).

10. Design Revisions

Our design fees cover up to two (2) iterations of revisions to layout plan drawings and 3D mockups. Any further modifications or complete design conceptualization changes after final 3D sign-off will attract design revision fees.

11. Warranty

Dot R Interiors provides a limited five (5) year warranty covering manufacturing defects on customized woodwork, modular kitchen cabinets, and wardrobes executed by us. Hardware fittings, electrical fixtures, and appliance items carry separate warranties directly offered by their respective manufacturers.

12. Third-Party Products

Any appliances, lightings, electronic systems, or sanitary ware procured from third-party manufacturers are sold "as is". We assist in the installation but do not offer direct product performance warranties on such items.

13. Intellectual Property

All design layouts, 3D renderings, site drawings, and conceptual sketches generated by Dot R Interiors remain the exclusive intellectual property of Dot R Interiors. They may not be reproduced, copied, or handed over to other contractors for execution without our prior written consent.

14. Website Usage Policies

The content displayed on https://dotrinteriors.in/, including design photography, portfolio highlights, and copywriting text, is protected by copyright law. You may read the content for individual, non-commercial purposes only.

15. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Dot R Interiors, its directors, or employees be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website usage or project execution contracts, beyond the total value of fees received for that specific service contract.

16. Termination

Either party may terminate the project contract by giving written notice if the other party breaches material terms of the contract and fails to remedy such breach within 14 business days of notification.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising from or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
