1. Overview
At Dot R Interiors Pvt. Ltd., we execute custom, high-end turnkey projects and bespoke design configurations tailored to specific residential or commercial premises. Because our material procurements, manufacturing, and design services are customized for each site, our cancellation and refund parameters operate under strict criteria detailed below.
2. Design & Site Quotation Fees
Any fees paid for site inspection, architectural layout drafting, structural engineering calculation inputs, or initial 3D design conceptualization are 100% non-refundable. These fees compensate for the design services rendered and labor hours spent.
3. Advance Payments
Turnkey projects require a mobilization advance (usually 50% of the total contract value) for material procurement and labor reservation. Mobilization advances are non-refundable once design drawings have been finalized or material purchase orders have been dispatched.
4. Cancellation Prior to Project Execution
If the client requests to cancel a project contract after paying the advance but before any physical site work has commenced or material procurement has started, refund eligibility is capped at a maximum of 20% of the advance amount. The remaining 80% is retained to cover layout conceptualization hours, site measurements, and engineering planning.
5. Cancellation After Work Commences
No refunds or cancellations will be accommodated once civil demolition, site preparation, electrical wiring routing, woodwork carcasses framing, or painting preparation has commenced at the site. The client remains liable to clear invoices for the execution stages completed.
6. Custom Furniture & Modular Millwork
Bespoke furniture items, custom modular kitchens, wardrobes, and structural glass/metal works are manufactured specifically for your layout measurements. Once manufacturing has commenced at our factory, custom furniture orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.
7. Third-Party Products & Material Procurement
For items like light fixtures, wallpapers, loose furniture, fabrics, marbles, and sanitary appliances procured from third-party manufacturers, cancellations and returns are subject to the respective brand's individual return policies. Any restocking fees charged by third-party suppliers shall be borne by the client.
8. Project Postponement
If a client requests to postpone project execution after payment of the mobilization advance, the advance will be held securely in escrow for up to six (6) months. If the project does not resume within six months, the advance is forfeited to offset storage fees, material shelf-life degradation, and planning resource allocation.
9. Refund Disbursal Timeline
Any eligible refund amounts settled and approved by the management will be disbursed within fourteen (14) business days from the date of written settlement confirmation. Disbursals will be executed via bank wire transfer or online payments to the registered client bank account.
